SLJ day 5 Activity 3 - Going, going….gone

I have heard the news that New Zealand is going to sink in  a week, which may seem terrible but is not because the government is making measurements to save citizens but the bad thing is that people who are currently in New Zealand are not allowed to go out the country and people can't come to the country either. If you have never been to New Zealand then I would gladly describe it to you.
New Zealand is a country made up of two main beautiful islands, The North Island and The South Island. Both islands are important in their own ways. The life in New Zealand is very simple and happy. The children go to school with their own chromebooks and study while the adults go to their job and have a very good time. There are a lot of people to help you too.

  1. Good morning Maanas,

I like how you have talked about the rising sea levels to start off your paragraph. If this was to happen, what sort of impact do you think NZ will have? I have recently found this article and I thought it might be worth sharing with you. Have a read!

I am happy to hear that you can use chromebooks in the classroom for your learning. I have been to lots of different schools and unfortunately not all of them had a digital learning system in place. Consider yourself lucky for being able to the internet as a learning tool!

Have you started school yet? What are you most excited about?

    All the best,
    Susie
